About BKB Ceramics:

 
BKB Ceramics is a small ceramics company started by husband and wife, Brian Bosworth and Jamie Poole—based in Joshua Tree, California specializing in handcrafted modern ceramics. " From his home studio, Brian crafts planters for cacti and succulents using rock or Styrofoam casts, a potter's wheel, and hand-construction techniques."  He has also started a line of modern handmade lamps.

 

Bosworth trained as a sculptor at Claremont Graduate University but found himself drawn to ceramics about six years ago and began making his planter line as an extension of his sculpture practice. He started by casting molds of rocks and styrofoam, which then evolved into more abstract geometric and architectural forms."
